My boyfriend and Louie both said fruits and vegetables. My mom said they could probably grow tomatoes. I think anything could be grown in an urban farm if the climate is right for the food.

6. What can the government do to help urban farm initiatives?
My cousin said, the government can spread the word by informing it's people about the good that comes from urban farming . My friend said, I consider the government should consider providing grants and small business loans to urban famers who do wish to enter in this type of agriculture. I also believe the government should have written regulations for them to follow due to our air pollution and rot-ants infestation in our city.
My uncle said,For those who do wish to make a farm I think the government should consider them as business owners and provide loans or grants. Or maybe have excluded areas/space in the city to grow their products by keeping them away from pollution.
Your uncle is right that NYC is full of pollution, but that is one things that plants to: filter the pollution for us! So more plants means healthier air.
