After reading Unit 3: Chapter 2 of Urban Reader for College Writers, do the following activity:
Turn to page 104 and read the survey questions (copied below for your convenience). Find at least three people to interview, and ask them these questions. You should add your own input as well. Your comment will be what you learned from your survey along with your own opinion. See the example below:
Example comment:
I interviewed my mom, my boyfriend, and my friend Louie.
1. Have you ever heard of urban farms?
All three of the people I interviewed said they have. I had not heard of them before reading this chapter.
2. Where can people create urban farms?
My boyfriend said on rooftops, Louie said in community gardens, and my mom didn't know. I have seen community gardens, but not rooftop farming.
3. What types of food can one grow on urban farms?
My boyfriend and Louie both said fruits and vegetables. My mom said they could probably grow tomatoes. I think anything could be grown in an urban farm if the climate is right for the food.
etc....
Here are the survey questions for your convenience (so you can copy and paste them instead of having to write them out yourself in your comment, for instance):

There is no class on Monday and Tuesday. Enjoy the long break!
