  1. i think it will definitely develop and spread to others for two reasons. One is people want to see whatever they eat is in perfect condition. Because if you purchase something from supermarket, there is no chance to have that product absolutely perfect. Supermarket authority can mix any kind of chemical to make that fresh, and people dont wanna buy anything with poisonous chemical. Second reason we want to have everything in cheaper price but better quality. So, as a fact people will not spend more money, while they are getting better things in cheaper rate.

    2. It's true, even though there is a start-up cost to the project, in the long run, consumers definitely save money by growing their own food.

  4. In my opinion, I think it will work well. First of all, we can be assured of safety and cleanliness of products. Then we don't worry about toxic substance from food from market or mall. Also, we can be purchase better quality products with better prices. At last, it will help rebuild a healthy local food system.

    1. I totally agree, people will know what they are paying for. Best thing is that they will be buying the same thing they buy at a supermarket BUT cheaper and healthier. Sounds great to me :)

    2. Right. Through this program people will be getting fresh and likely organic food that they grew themselves, so they will know exactly what went into it.

  5. I personally think her idea might have a influence in other neighbors because everyone will know what type of chemicals their food will have. As many might know in the process of a plant growing this needs some type of chemicals such as insecticide to prevent insects to destroy your crops. Although they are the 'organic' type of crops which are free of such chemicals. I truly believe some neighbors might follow because some might not have the patience to deal with the process of growing crops.

    1. Good points. Through growing your own food, you know exactly what went into it. If you want to use chemicals, that's fine, if you don't then that's fine too, but either way, you know what happened to your food while it was growing.

    1. Many people in these neighborhoods don't have the money or access to vegetables, even in the supermarket, so you're right, this will help more people get fresh food.

  7. I think mesa verde's food initiative will develop and spread to other neighborhoods beacuse predominantly people like to eat organic food it is healty and clean from chemicals. If they buy these food from supermarket it is more expensive and they wouldn't find it in every store they could find it only in a big supermarkets, it will also easy for them to get it in a neighborhood. If they are intersting in farming and planting they can also work as a volunteer in a field or they can make their own garden also in home.

    1. yes that's also the good point, because i think that her food might be cheaper than ones from the supermarkets and it's absolutely healthier the chemical foods.

    2. Good points. Because they grow it themselves, they're getting good, healthy food for cheap and it will only have the chemicals on it that they want to be on it (if any at all).

  8. I think that her food initiative will develop and spread to other neighborhood.First of all, people like fresh food better them the chemical food, because it's more healthier.Second,by having a great quality of vegetable then other gardening will attract other people living in different neighborhood to bye her food and by the way,her food initiative will spread all over.

  9. sure it will because her garden's crops are pure, fresh, organic and cheap. Apparently i got to know that the vegetables we buy from super market are used chemical to grow fast for the consumers. they never consider about the nutrients for people's sake. but mesa verde's crops grow normally which must contain nutrients that have to have and it's cheaper than super market so her garden sure will be accepted and recommended by other neighborhoods. they might also appreciate her for the great job in the community.

    1. That's right, between genetically modified produce and pesticides, there is a lot of foreign stuff in our fruits and vegetables, but if these people grow at home, they will know exactly what is in their food.

  10. I think the Mesa Verde's food initiative will develop and spread to other neighborhoods. Now many people start to think about their health and healthy food, they worry the food in the supermarket that is not that clean, they might not know any chemical on the food. So if people can plant their fruit and vegetable in their backyard, and get the safe foods, then other people would like to follow and do the same in their backyard. Also every family has children and their parents care more about their children health and what they children eat. Therefore people would like to have health food from their backyard instead buying food from supermarket.

    1. i agree with you. People are more likely to buy health food now. so i believe they would like to buy food from people they trust or they plant their food.

    2. Good points. Growing food yourself means you know exactly what you and your family is eating.

  11. Mesa Verde's food initiative will develop and spread to other neighborhoods. I do believe on it because its more healthy and savings grow in yard gardens. Who's not going to buy a product growing with care and attention also she's the only one growing vegetable in the neiborhoods with precautions and cheaper than every other store. Store that getting their food for low price and sell them for more money plus they not fresh, while Mesa Verde's food come directly in the soil and fresh. Reason plus I think her product will sell the most in the town.

  12. i think the Mesa Verde's food initiative will develop and spread to other neighborhoods. Buying food from neighbors is much convenient and healthier than buying food in market. People do not have to go far away to buy food, if their neighbor are selling the food they want. And also, the food from neighbor's backyard are more trustful. Therefore, i believe the Mesa Verfe's food initiative will success and spread to more communities.

  13. Yes Mesa Verde's food will initiative develop and spread to other neighborhoods. The food is healthy and that's what people need to eat healthy food and plus nobody have to walk or travel far away to buy food. This is why i think Mesa Verde's food will expend.

    2. That's another good point. If the people don't have to go anywhere for the food, they will be more likely to eat it and be healthy.

  14. Absolutely Yes, if people get to know how beneficial it is to have their own garden, they will do it. it's healthy, they will know what they put into their own vegetables ( chemicals ), it's safe, organic and fresh. It comes from the garden to the kitchen, and also what every person is concerned about, it's much cheaper than buying vegetables from the supermarket, which means improvement in the economy and that what most of the people will count on nowadays.
